CHANGES WE’VE MADE AROUND THE OFFICE
- All staff and doctors complete a wellness screening and have their temperatures taken in the morning and after lunch to keep everyone safe. All staff and doctors are tested (nasal swab, blood antibody) routinely to ensure everyone’s safety
- Finger prick blood test kits are available for patient testing to determine a patient’s antibody status. Tests will be performed based on the discretion of the doctors following review of the wellness screening forms
- We have increased our cleaning schedule, especially in high traffic areas
- We have purchased medical grade air purifiers with HEPA-13 filters. These purifiers improve air quality in the office and mitigate the spread of airborne particles
- We are fortunate to have windows that open in each treatment room. We have placed fans in each window sill to continuously draw out the air in treatment rooms and create negative air pressure to mitigate the spread of airborne particles
- We have removed all magazines to mitigate the spread of infection
- We are using an additional high speed suction and isolation system (isodry) that significantly decrease aerosols during preparation procedures
- We are limiting our available appointments to allow for adequate time to adhere to our strict cleaning and disinfection protocols of our treatment rooms and to limit the number of patients in the office to maintain adequate social distancing
