Dr. Davodi started his undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine at the age of 16. After graduating from college with a degree in Microbiology, Dr. Davodi spent a year as a research analyst at Baxter Edwards before attending the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) for dental school. While at UCSF, Dr. Davodi excelled in prosthodontics and following graduation in 1992 with the highest honors, moved to Los Angeles to continue his post graduate education at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). At UCLA, Dr. Davodi completed post-doctoral residencies in Hospital Dentistry, Advanced Prosthodontics, and Maxillofacial Prosthetics while serving as the chief resident.

Following his specialty training, Dr. Davodi moved to Minneapolis and began teaching at the University of Minnesota (UofM) School of Dentistry where his wife completed her residency in Orthodontics. At U of M, Dr. Davodi was the director of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and was responsible for teaching both pre-doctoral and prosthodontic residents while maintaining a private practice.

Dr. Davodi started his private practice in Beverly Hills with Dr. Baxley in 1998 while teaching at UCLA. Dr. Davodi served as the interim director of graduate prosthodontics, course director of removable partial dentures, and the director of implant treatment planning seminars for all post-doctoral residencies at UCLA.

Dr. Davodi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, which is the highest level of professional achievement in Prosthodontics, and a contributing principal author of the first and second editions of “Fundamentals of Implant Dentistry”, one of the most successful and globally used text books published in implant dentistry.

Dr. Davodi has extensive experience in management of patients with multidisciplinary needs, specially patients with congenitally missing teeth, maxillofacial resection patients, and patients who require significant reconstructions with dental implants.

In addition to solving complex reconstructive problems, Dr. Davodi’s private practice in Beverly Hills is recognized as one of the leading practices in esthetic dentistry in the country.
