Dr. Baxley was raised in North Carolina where he attended Duke University. He was accepted in dental school at the University of North Carolina after only 3 years of undergraduate study. He graduated first in his dental school class and was featured in People Magazine as one of the top ten students in the country.

Following one year of private practice in Pinehurst NC, he returned to UNC School of Dentistry where he taught in the Department of Removable Prosthodontics.

Dr. Baxley moved to Los Angeles in 1983. He then attended 3 years of specialty training at UCLA where he received certificates in both Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Following his specialty training, Dr. Baxley went into private practice while simultaneously teaching at both UCLA and USC. At UCLA, Dr. Baxley chaired the state board denture set-up course for 3 years. At USC, he taught fixed and removable prosthodontics to General Practice Residents in a hospital environment. He has been in his present practice in Beverly Hills since 1992. He treats patients who require general dentistry as well as those who require his prosthodontic reconstructive expertise.
